Can REThink game enhance self-transcendence values and compassion for players?

Abstract / Description

Rethink game is a cognitive-behavioral instrument validated for rational thinking enhancement. It has a component of exercising compassion and helping characters in specific levels of the game. This study tests the hypothesis that those who play the game regularly for four weeks will show enhances self-transcendence value importance, compassion levels and self-compassion scores. The results show that by comparison, the groups that used the app has better scores in these variables compared to those from the wait list.
