Abstract / Description

Das Verfahren stellt ein quantitatives und qualitatives Maß für die Diagnose, die Stärke und die Erscheinungsform der Symptomatik von Bulimie zur Verfügung. Als Grundlage diente der Bulimia Test (BULIT) von Smith und Thelen (1984). Der EVT besteht aus 20 Items. Reliabilität: Für die Endfassung wurde ein Konsistenzkoeffizient von .96 erreicht. Validität: Das Verfahren besitzt inhaltlich-logische Gültigkeit. Es wurden lediglich drei Items zu einem bereits validierten Instrument (BULIT) ergänzt. Eine weitere Validitätsprüfung wurde nicht vorgenommen.
The procedure provides a quantitative and qualitative measure of the diagnosis, strength and manifestation of bulimia symptoms. The Bulimia Test (BULIT) by Smith and Thelen (1984) served as the basis. The EVT consists of 20 items. Reliability: A consistency coefficient of .96 was achieved for the final version. Validity: The procedure is valid in terms of content and logic. Only three items were added to an already validated instrument (BULIT). A further validity check was not carried out.
