Abstract / Description

Die SDES dient der Erfassung zweier Konstrukte Defeat und Entrapment mit je 4 Items. Sie wurde aus der englischen Kurzversion sowie mithilfe der getrennt entwickelten Übersetzungen beider Skalen konstruiert. Reliabilität: Die internen Konsistenzen nach Cronbachs Alpha lagen für die Skala Defeat zwischen Alpha = .85 und Alpha = .88 und für die Skala Entrapment zwischen Alpha = .65 und Alpha = .83. Validität: Die faktorielle und konvergente Validität konnte nachgewiesen werden. Außerdem konnten signifikante Mittelwertunterschiede zwischen nicht-suizidal gefährdeten und Proband/-innen unterschiedlichster Stadien der Suizidalität erzielt werden.
The SDES is aimed to measure two constructs, Defeat and Entrapment, with 4 items each. It was constructed from the English short version and with the help of the separately developed translations of both scales. Reliability: The internal consistencies according to Cronbach's alpha were between alpha = .85 and alpha = .88 for the Defeat scale and between alpha = .65 and alpha = .83 for the Entrapment scale. Validity: The factorial and convergent validity could be demonstrated. In addition, significant differences in mean scores were achieved between non-suicidal persons at risk and respondents at different stages of suicidality.
