Der romantische Liebesentwurf

Das romantische Liebeskonzept wird in Ausschnitten und an einigen literarischen Beispielen erläutert. Die Akzente sind: Liebessehnsucht und Idealisierung des Liebesobjekts. Die Autorin legt Wert darauf zu betonen, dass der romantische Liebesentwurf im Kontext der romantischen Lebensphilosophie steht, und dass darin mit Liebe nicht die triviale Versüßung des bürgerlichen Alltags angestrebt wird. Im Gegenteil ist eine Liebe gemeint, die nur in einer anti-bürgerlichen romantischen Gegenwelt funktionieren kann, vor allem in der Welt künstlerischer Freiheit – eine Liebe, die nicht der Anpassung dient, sondern der Selbstverwirklichung und der Rettung aus Entfremdung.

Some literary examples are used to discuss parts of the romantic concept of love. The accents are: romantic longing and idealization of the love-object. The author emphasizes, that the romantic concept of love is part of the romantic philosophy of life. In this context love does not intend a trivial embellishment of common life. On the contrary it concerns a kind of love, which can only function in an anti-bourgeois life, which first of all can be found in artistic freedom – a kind of love, which does not support adaptation, but is essential part of self-fulfilment and escape from alienation.
