Das Gespenst spricht. Zum Entwurf eines neuen Humanismus bei Karl Marx

Karl Marx hat nicht lediglich Hegels Philosophie, wie Engels bemerkt »vom Kopf, auf dem sie stand, wieder auf die Füße gestellt«. Besonders in den ökonomisch-philophischen Manuskripten präsentiert er den Entwurf eines eigenen Humanismus, den er dem in Hegel erkannten »falschen Positivismus« gegenüberstellt. Im Folgenden soll gezeigt werden, wie dieser Geist des Humanismus durch das im Manifest der Kommunistischen Partei beschworene Gespenst seinen Ausdruck findet.

Karl Marx did not only realize, as Engels put it, that Hegel was »standing on his head,« the economic and philosophic manuscripts introduced a concept of humanism with which he opposed Hegel’s »false positivism.« In the following, I outline the ways in which this spirit of a new humanism is articulated through the specter Marx invokes in the communist manifesto.
