PVS - Partner Violence Screen - deutsche Fassung

Das PVS ist ein Diagnostikinstrument zur Erfassung von häuslicher Gewalt speziell bei Frauen. Dabei legt es den Fokus auf körperliche und sexualisierte Gewalt. Es besteht aus fünf Items, die jeweils bejaht oder verneint werden können. Eine einzige Bejahung gilt bereits als positives Ergebnis, das für eine häusliche Gewaltbelastung der Frau spricht. Reliabilität: Keine Angaben. Validität: Um die konvergente Validität zu messen, wurden die Ergebnisse des PVS mit dem Index of Spouse Abuse (ISA) verglichen. Von n = 74 Teilnehmerinnen bestimmte das PVS mit den ursprünglichen drei Items (Sensitivität 79%, Spezifität 70%) 36 als positiv, also häusliche Gewalt erlebend, und 38 als negativ. Der ISA wertete von den von dem PVS als positiv identifizierten 22 ebenfalls als positiv und 14 als negativ und bei den von dem PVS als negativ identifizierten Teilnehmerinnen 6 als positiv und 32 als negativ. Von n = 65 Teilnehmerinnen bestimmte das PVS in der 12-Monate Version mit fünf Items (Sensitivität 80%, Spezifität 78%) 29 als positiv und 36 als negativ. Der ISA wertete von den vom PVS als positiv identifizierten 20 ebenfalls als positiv und 9 als negativ und bei den von dem PVS als negativ identifizierten Teilnehmerinnen 5 als positiv und 31 als negativ.

The PVS is a diagnostic instrument for identifying domestic violence, especially among women. It focuses on physical and sexualised violence. It consists of five items, each of which can be affirmed or denied. A single affirmative answer is already considered a positive result, which indicates that the woman is exposed to domestic violence. Reliability: No data.
