Abstract / Description

The dataset contains original data for a wide range of indicators capturing information on the factors affecting acceptance of various welfare technology (telecare, telemedicine and socially assistive robots) among three groups of health and social care professionals and three groups of students (nursing, social work and social gerontology). A sample of participants (N=615) was surveyed between 18/09/2023 and 07/12/2023 via the online survey application 1KA. The questionnaire consists of several thematic sections: Use of new technologies, Application of new technologies in health and social care, Knowledge and experience in telemedicine, telecare and social robotics, Ageism, Telemedicine and Demographic information. The structure of the survey aimed to gain an insight into the attitudes of the target group towards welfare technology used in health and social care for older people and the various factors that influence their acceptance.
